We are currently recruiting for a world leader in the design, manufacture and installation of seismic instrumentation used in seismology research, oil and gas exploration and production.

They develop ocean bottom systems for deployment at depths of more than 6km.

Their sensors are used in earthquake early warning systems, Monitoring of Volcanic activity and Oil and Gas exploration on land and at sea.


With the continued expansion of their business, they are recruiting a highly capable Customer Support team member with the responsibility of providing technical assistance to their global customer network.


They are looking for a highly motivated individual to join their growing team, based in Aldermaston so you will ideally need to be a driver to get there.


Job Description/Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting customers through remote diagnosis and deciding strategies on how to proceed with repairs/support.
  • Provide customer training both inhouse and at customer sites.
  • Liaising with the Engineering department to provide continuous feedback in order to improve product design and reliability.
  • Working through a list of prioritised support tickets to provide an efficient and professional service to end users.
  • Supporting field services, in a 'handson' role that may require international travel.
