Description

Techunite are recruiting for a Telecoms Installation Engineer to be based around the West Sussex area.

Role:


  • Installations and Maintenance of a range of onsite and hosted VoIP Phone System throughout the UK
  • Complete accurate site surveys before installation
  • Train customers on the use of their new phone system.
  • Obtain customer acceptance and sign off upon successful installation to ensure the customer is fully satisfied with the new system.
  • 20% of installations require installation and termination of Cat 5E/ Some days you will be required to visit customers to fix onsite faults
  • Keep abreast with new network and phone system technology.
  • Liaise with and update other departments.

_Skills & Expertise:
_

Must have

  • Possess a proven track record with extensive knowledge of installing, programming and maintaining PBX/IP Telephone systems
  • A high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding telecoms services and technologies
  • Experience in diagnostics PBX and hosted Cloud telephony faults

Desirable:


  • Networking / Telecommunications or working knowledge of connectivity.
  • Experience installing either Horizon, Ericsson LG, Panasonic, Avaya, 3CX, CallSwitch / Asterisk
  • Experience troubleshooting routers and basic networking
  • Networking Knowledge (N+, CCNA)
