Description

We are looking for a Food & Beverage Team Leader to oversee the front of house operations for The Golden Eagle by delivering a high-quality menu and motivating team members to provide excellent customer service.

We'll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our Pub runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing front of house operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Your primary goal will be to provide an exceptional dining experience for our customers while achieving business objectives and maintaining profitability.


Key responsibilities include:

1.

Operations Management:


  • Reporting to the owner all aspects of Pub operations.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control procedures to ensure consistency and adherence to established standards.
  • Collaborate with the Chef (Owner) and kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of food orders.
  • Manage beverage & bar inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, tracking usage, and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Oversee and maintain all cleaning schedules and tasks are carried out to the highest possible standard.
  • Manage the cellar, ensuring it is kept operational and clean to the highest standard. Conducting regular line cleans and barrel changes.

Staff Management and Training:


  • Assist the Owner in recruitment, hiring, training, and supervising of frontofhouse staff.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective leadership, communication, and teambuilding initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to ensure highquality service and professional development.

Customer Service and Experience:


  • Promote a customercentric culture by ensuring exceptional service standards are met consistently.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement strategies to enhance the overall experience.

Administrative Responsibilities:


  • Manage bookings and customer enquiries.
  • Monitor FOH financial performance, expenses, and profitability.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales and financials.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute marketing and promotional initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Proven experience as a Team Leader or in a similar role, preferably in an upscale Pub.
  • Strong knowledge of Pub operations, including food and beverage service, health and safety standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, staff, and vendors.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

  • Proficient in cellar operations.

Education and Experience:


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar role, with a proven track record of success.
