Food and Beverage Server
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join our team as a Food and Beverage Server. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure exceptional customer service while assisting guests throughout their experience.

As a Food and Beverage Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

You will be directly assisting the Team Leader ensuring a smooth flow of operations.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
• Provide recommendations and answer any questions regarding menu items.
• Serve food and beverages to customers following proper serving etiquette.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any issues or special requests.
• Maintain knowledge of current menus, menu changes, and restaurant promotions.
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely delivery of food.
• Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance the guest experience.
• Handle cash and electronic payments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the premises.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanour.
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparations, including wine pairings.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.

Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take customer orders and input them into the cash register
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks
• Ensure accuracy in order delivery and promptly address any customer concerns or requests
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the bar and beverage station
• Assist with food preparation as needed
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
• Bus tables and assist with overall cleanliness of the dining area

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
• Knowledge of beverage recipes and mixing techniques is a plus
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication and guest relations skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
• Willingness to learn and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
