Brewster Partners are delighted to be partnering with a SME company withing the construction sector to support them source for a Finance Manager.

They are a £15m Turnover company and they have exciting plans for expansion. This role will report directlyto the MD and will have a team of 3 reporting to them. We are looking for an experienced Accounts manager who has experience being a number one within a finance team.

The main purpose of this role is to report the financial results in line with accountingprinciples and standards, whilst maintaining a system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls to mitigate risk.

The Role:

Month end procedures
Day to day management of the Accounts team
Yearend procedures
Daily monitoring of cashflow and update of cash flow spreadsheet
Producing Management Accounts, P & L's, balance sheets and supplementary financial reports where required
Completing VAT returns
Bank reconciliations and allocation on Sage and cashflow
Reconcile control accounts
Accruals, prepayments, and depreciation of fixed assets
Dealing with accounts queries

The Person:

AAT qualified or equivalent (QBE)
Strong accounts background
Sage 50 experience would be ideal
Strong technical skills
Able to manage a team
