Description
Sharp's Furniture solutions enable customers to transform their office environments through creating collaborative and innovative working spaces.

In this role you will be assisting with goods receipt, storage, and dispatch. Preparing and organising furniture and accessories prior to delivery. Delivery, Installation and assembly of furniture. Liaising with colleagues and customers regarding delivery requirements.


You should have a full driving license, be confident driving a transit van, and willing to deliver across Scotland and sometimes beyond.


The role

  • Manage goods inward and outward
  • Unloading of suppliers/company vehicles at warehouse or onsite
  • Inspection of goods for damage and checking quantities
  • Follow health and safety guidelines using appropriate PPE when required
  • Delivery of goods to site and onsite distribution of furniture to specific rooms or area
  • Assembly of furniture when required and layout to customer specific plans/needs
  • Removal and recycling of all packaging

The person

  • A flexible, adaptable, and willing individual with a strong work ethic
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools
  • Good customer communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong team player who will collaborate with colleagues/managers and customers
  • Can work under own initiative and to job deadlines
