This role is working for a medium sized organisation who has a worldwide presence and are on a growth path.

This position is remote.

As aCloud Operations Analyst you will be responsible for the management of the systems monitoring solutions.


Ahigh percentage of monitored resources are based in Azure data centres, however, there is also a significant on-premise footprint including wireless infrastructure, local networking, environmental/power and ISP connectivity.

The role will also be the initial contact point for incidents and requests escalated by the IT service desk.


Key responsibilities:


  • Manage the systems monitoring solution and resolve/escalate issues as necessary.
  • Monitor support incidents escalated from the service desk team and liaise with technology specialists as required.
  • Prepare and maintain relevant procedural and service documentation
  • Accurately manage and document the IT asset inventory
  • Ongoing professional development including the attaining of professional qualifications as agreed with the Cloud Operations Manager

Skills, knowledge, expertise:


  • Good understanding of network concepts such TCP/IP, LAN and WAN
  • Familiarity with cloudbased technologies.
  • At least 3 years' experience within an IT environment ideally with some service desk exposure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at the appropriate level of detail and technical content for the target audience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach to alert and ticket management.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Proven analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a diverse workload
