The perfect Transport and Logistics Partner for baked goods, offering storage and logistics solutions for non-refrigerated goods including bread, cake and patisserie.

Warrens are the primary distributor for many well know FMCG customers and have a tremendousindustry reputation for its dedication towards its services.

Our Crick site are now recruiting for a Finance Assistant on a full time, permanent basis.


Salary:
£24,000 per annum


Working hours:
Days - 5 out of 7

The purpose of a Finance Assistant for the provision of administrative support and the creation of accurate data.


Key Duties of a Finance Assistant:

  • Raise weekly Invoices and credit control customers
  • Key contributor to site administration and data collation
  • Collate information required for completion of weekly costings
  • Creation and maintenance of accurate MI for the operational team
  • Prepare month end and year end journals
  • Deal with suppliers/hauliers to provide PO numbers and agree costs
  • Follow instructions to implement changes in fast paced environment
  • Collate audit evidence as directed
  • Understands business compliance policy and how this applies in practise. Able to identify breaches.
  • Investigate and explain variances in the management accounts
  • Numerous adhoc reports and project tasks as required (from the Site General Manager / Finance Manger)

Qualifications

  • Have excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
  • Be able to make decisions under pressure, and to a tight timescale
  • Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods during the year
  • Be able to communicate well at all levels within the business
  • Have the ability to identify and suggest improvements to benefit both Warrens and our customer
  • PC Literate in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Should demonstrate the drive and desire to progress
  • Must be flexible in approach to work and shift patterns
