Rylands Nursing home in Newport are seeking a cook to join our Team

Duties include:
Home cooking essential

Deliver a high standard of food

Taking charge when kitchen manager is not available

Be able to stock control

Cleaning

Work shifts

Prepare, cook and serve meals to a high standard

paper work/ closing checks

You will also need:
Good communication with all staff in the home

Be able to work independently

Knowledge of elderly frail nutritional and dietary needs

food hygiene level 2 and food allergens awareness certificate

DBS required

salary to be discussed at interview
