Head Housekeeper - Telford, United Kingdom - Rylands Care Ltd
Description
Dealing with suppliers of linen and cleaning materials- Controlling supply costs
- Scheduling staff rotas, authorising annual leave and managing the domestic team
- Undertaking supervisions and appraisals
- Overseeing stocktakes, budgets and other paperwork, such as monthly maintenance reports and safety audits
- Covering domestics shifts and completing daily, weekly and monthly checklists to maintain high standards
- Being aware of IPC and CQC standards
- Liaising with Management, the Care team and the Nursing team to ensure that residents needs and preferences are met.
- Preparing rooms for new admissions
