Overview of the role
Reporting to the Theatre Manager the Healthcare Assistant (HCA) supports the delivery of high quality and high-volume cataract surgery.
Theatre HCAs assist the wider theatre team affording training opportunities with both pre and post operative care and also fulfilling a scrub role within theatre.

Personal Characteristics
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask.
- Enjoys working with a range of people, tailoring approach to a diversity of patient needs.
- Outstanding telephone manner
- Selfstarter with the ability to work on own initiative and escalate matters where appropriate
- Works well within a tight team.
Desirable Requirement
- Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a hospital or clinic environment.
