MIDAS is working with a highly successful and commercially focused Lancashire-based construction company who are approaching their centenary anniversary and act as a long-term construction partner to clients in the health, education, commercial and local authority sectors
Job Description:
Based at Head Office, you'll head up the Estimating team and be instrumental in securing new work, leading and contributing to bids, providing advice on constructability, programme and quality deliverables to ensure the successful execution of construction projects.
Your day-to-day work will be identifying win themes, client drivers and barriers with the aim of producing the highest quality bid submissions as part of a larger tender team.
Furthermore, you will provide support to Estimators in determining construction methodology with minimum unquantifiable risks as well as supporting the operations team by providing pre-construction material for tender as well providing support to the Construction Director and Commercial Lead.
The Successful Applicant:
We are looking for an individual who has extensive Preconstruction experience across the healthcare, education and commercial sectors who has the technical skills necessary to produce clear and concise written methodologies and explanations of technical solutions, with the ability to analyse and evaluate bid requirements as well as creating persuasive content.
