Our client is a leading utility main contractor with a healthy order book for the next four years.

Due to an increase in workload and growth in work footprint they are looking to expand their management team with an experienced Planning Manager.

Salary to £70k | Company Car / Allowance + Fuel card | Pension | 25 Days Holiday + bank holidays

Key Essentials:_

Reporting to the Project Director, your role will involve overseeing a team of up to 15 Planners / Schedulers and Streetwork Administrators providing back office support in the administration of utility planned work including civils excavation, mains replacementand reinstatement
Responsible for ensuring that all works are planned, permitted and managed according to service level agreements and that all targets are met
You will be the main point of contact for clients and local authorities. Responsible for ensuring that agreements are met and that both parties are kept informed helping to achieve positive feedback
Compiling regular reports showing the status of work in progress and an overview of the overall performance including forecasts and resources
You should have experience using CRM and Streetwork systems along with being able to positively manage negative feedback

_Requirements:
_

A minimum of 5 years managerial experience in a Utilities Planning environment on planned works
Confident in managing a team of Planners and Scheduler, ensuring that KPI's and targets are achieved
Excellent communication skills and competent in compiling detailed reports
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and CRM / Streetwork systems
