The key purpose of a Business Partner is to support ISS business leaders to deliver profitable and sustainable growth for services.

The Business Partner is responsible for providing dedicated, commercial and financial decision support aligned to strategic and customer priorities, to win good business and improve shareholder value.

The Finance Business Partner will support a Senior Business Partner/ Finance Director to challenge assumptions, influence decisions and make recommendations for efficiency improvements in order to sustain growth.

Key Responsibilities_**_

Accountable for the accuracy of financial records, compliance, business financial plans and forecasts and mange month end processes including P&L and Balance Sheet management
Support business leaders to deliver contractual obligations through identification of over and under delivery, performing root cause analysis, and making recommendations
Understand the value drivers of the business and provide guidance on contract / service performance including scenario planning, KPI analysis and benchmarking
Support the contract strategy through contractual change control notifications and liaison with the account management regarding reconciliation of spend and changes to service delivery, changes to buildings / assets / sites / locations / other changes
Support business leaders to deliver contractual obligations through identification of over and under delivery, performing root cause analysis, and making recommendations
Working closely with the account teams to ensure optimisation of processes and spend as well as an accurate and consistent approach to profitable growth

Professional and personal competencies/qualifications_**_

Commercially qualified accountant (CA, CIMA, ACCA) or working towards with relevant experience
Extensive experience working in a Finance organisation, preferably within a similar industry
Experience in a similar role within a multisite business is desirable
Capability of adding value in a commercially orientated bidding and contracting environment
Evidence of strong understanding of the importance of process and control within Commercial
Evidence of ability to influence, negotiate, listen to and resolve conflicts with decision makers
Ability to highlight problems, offer practical solutions, and support their execution
Commercial acumen, as well as experience of understanding relationships between key financial and nonfinancial business value drivers
Evidence of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
