Job Purpose:

Privacy Compliance Officer role, part of the AVEVA Legal Team, responsible for supporting the company's worldwide privacy compliance initiative. The ideal candidate must demonstrate an interest in overseeing the various global privacy regulations affecting AVEVA, ensuring compliance with the guidance of the legal team. This role offers a valuable opportunity to enhance expertise in privacy law, with continuous guidance and training provided.

Principal Accountabilities

Manage the implementation of AVEVA's global Privacy Programme;
Maintain company and Data Protection Officer registrations at a global scale;
Handle and respond to Data Subject Access requests and other inquiries;
Monitor privacy incidents and coordinate remedial actions;
Conduct privacy compliance assessments across AVEVA's global business operations, collaborating with all departments;
Oversee and monitor privacy-related tasks, such as group standards, action items post incidents, and internal audits;
Facilitate Privacy training and awareness initiatives; and
Arrange quarterly governance meetings involving global legal teams and business stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

Strong organizational abilities;
Experience in creating policies, procedures, and reports is advantageous;
Proactive and self-driven;
Keen on implementing enhancements, including template updates, process enhancements, training implementation, and involvement in strategic projects; and
Prior legal background is highly valued.
