Description
Hours of work:9.00am - 5.00pm (Scotland) or 9.30am - 5.30pm (England), with flexibility to attend occasional recruitment events in the evening and undertake occasional national travel.

Birmingham, Glasgow or Leeds
Purpose of the role:
To provide professional and quality administrative support to Early Talent Officers. You are expected to provide excellent service at all times and demonstrate your organisational and interpersonal skills
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
- Supporting ETOs in the planning, organisation and delivery of virtual PRIME legal school work experience programmes across eight UK offices;
- Checking right to work documentation for new apprentices and students attending legal school work experience programmes;
- Supporting ETOs in the planning, organisation and delivery of Apprenticeship programmes;
- Supporting ETOs with any adhoc work experience and apprenticeship administration;
- Assisting on social mobility projects including Social Mobility Employer Index annual submission;
- Maintaining good relationships with social mobility partners and training providers;
- Assisting with the Kirk Murdoch Scholarship Annual Event;
- Updating and maintaining work experience and apprenticeship sections of intranet and website;
- General administration (e.g. efiling, document management, scanning etc);
- Preparation of materials, booking rooms, arranging IT equipment, catering etc. for internal and external events;
- Attending various Working Group updates e.g. the Institute of Student Employers (ISE);
- Attending various Webinars and online events;
- Attending virtual and in person school/apprenticeship career events;
- Processing invoices and expense claims for team;
- Arranging team travel for events;
- Ad hoc support on reporting, presentation of data, PowerPoint presentations for Head of Early Talent
Key Skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
- Excellent organisational and time management skills;
- Selfmotivated and ability to work without direct supervision as and when required
- Ability to demonstrate being 'approachable, bold and connected' consistent with the firm's core values
- Methodical with excellent attention to detail;
- Willingness to learn new skills and work flexibly as part of a team;
- Positive 'can do' attitude;
Qualifications & Relevant Experience
- Previous experience of working within a legal and/or early careers recruitment or HR environment advantageous, but not essential. Alternatively, this role may suit a recent graduate with an interest in a career in HR, recruitment or early careers.
