Description

Are you ready to be a part of a dynamic installation team working on diverse sites across the nation? Recruit 2 You is seeking motivated individuals to join our client's installation team, contributing to the delivery of exceptional bespoke equipment.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our equipment is installed to the highest standards across a range of sites, including Hospitals, Schools of Anatomy, and Funeral Directors.

Role Overview:

As a key member of our installation team, you will work closely with a small group of dedicated professionals to install specialised equipment.

Your role will be supporting the installation of stainless-steel equipment to intricate electrical and mechanical systems.

The role involves manual lifting and offers a diverse range of tasks, including plumbing, mechanical assembly, electrical work, and problem-solving to tailor installations to each site's unique requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with fellow installation team members and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient installations.
  • Plan and coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements in accordance with company policies.
  • Execute tasks as directed by onsite supervisors, line managers, and Project Managers.
  • Adhere to Risk and Method Statements, actively promoting a culture of Health & Safety.
  • Complete mandatory site inductions to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Uphold and follow company policies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Focus on delivering installations efficiently, upholding our unwavering quality standards.

Requirements:

  • While not mandatory, prior experience working with stainless steel equipment, along with familiarity with construction sites and M&E services (ventilation, water, waste, electrics), would be highly advantageous. Joinery skills or experience can also provide a strong foundation for excelling in our installations.
  • Proficiency in using a range of hand tools with a strong emphasis on safety and practical awareness of site regulations.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend layout and CAD drawings related to shop floor plans.
  • Develop a comprehensive technical understanding of company products.
  • Strong communication skills and professional appearance, given the potential for client interactions.
  • While working alongside a supervisor is typical, being proactive and resourceful while working independently is essential.

What you can achieve:

  • Starting salary of £25,000, inclusive of hours worked within a 39hour Monday-Friday schedule.
  • Performance review after a successful probation period and training.
  • Shift bonus allowance for preauthorised extended working, weekend shifts, and international assignments.
  • Company credit card and mobile phone provided.
  • Additional funds for subsistence and refreshments during offsite work in line with company expenses policy.
  • 20 days holidays (+ bank holidays, UK), with an additional day per year of service, up to 25 days total.
  • Workbased pension scheme (optout available).
  • Death in Service benefit (4x annual salary to next of kin).
  • Potential for companywide bonus based on exceeding yearly budget (24% of annual salary in previous years).
  • The opportunity to contribute to a variety of installation projects across the country.
  • A chance to enhance your technical skills and broaden your experience within the field.
  • Collaborative work environment with supportive colleagues and supervisors.
