Here at Alexander Steele Recruitment we are working in partnership with a global food manufacturer who supply quality products to some of the worlds biggest food brands.

We are supporting the R&D team to find a Samples Technician for their state of the artsite in Bedfordshire.

The Role:

Reporting to the Development Manager, the Samples Technician will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Development Team with sample prep for internal and external stakeholders.

Key accountabilities will include;

Making, packing and despatching samples.
Responsibility for ordering, storing and rotation of ingredients.
Cleaning and sanitising duties and ensuring care of equipment.
Building and maintaining close working relationships with development technologists, project managers, development chefs and other technicians within the R&D and Development team.
Have an understanding of the importance of project importance and deadlines.
Experience working in a similar environment is desirable
Passionate about food development
Be able to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleaning for lab and kitchen equipment.
