We will consider part-time and full-time hours hrs) as we are keen to recruit the right person to this role.

We are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our Colorectal/UGI Admin Team. The postholder will provide day to day administrative support to our Medical Secretaries, Support Secretary and Clinicians.

You will need to be a self-motivated individual with proven administration skills.

Applicants with experience in an acute/medical setting would be an advantage but certainly not essential.

You will possess excellent communication skills and be open and accessible to provide the required support for queries, advice and support.

You will join a welcoming and motivated Team, all of whom do their very best to ensure an effective administrative service is provided to support our patients.

Great office and IT skills will be essential in managing your workload to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.

You will also demonstrate excellent organisational skills, be flexible in your approach, exercise initiative, demonstrate a consistently high standard of professionalism and be aware of the need for confidentiality and integrity.

The duties and responsibilities listed in the Job Description should be undertaken in accordance with the levels of competence as defined in the KSF outline for this post.

In addition, all staff are expected to act in accordance with the values and behaviours of the Trust.
