Are you a dedicated ICT educator with a passion for shaping young minds? Tradewind Recruitment is proud to partner with a reputable secondary school in Skegness, seeking a dynamic ICT Teacher to join their team for the upcoming summer term.
Role Overview:
As a full-time ICT Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons to students across both Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), with a particular focus on BTEC.
You will play a pivotal role in preparing students for their academic journeys, equipping them with essential ICT skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality ICT lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
Cover essential modules including The Prevention of Data Loss and Policies, Data Collection, Presentation, and Interpretation, as well as The Law and Reporting Negative Online Behaviours.
Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a passion for ICT.Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and enriching curriculum
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in ICT or related field.
Proven experience teaching ICT at both KS3 and KS4 levels, preferably with a focus on BTEC.
Strong knowledge of ICT curriculum requirements and assessment strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
