About our client
Our client has £250m AUM to deploy across a range of sectors.

Their portfolio includes over forty companies focusing on everything from eCommerce, SaaS, Food and Beverage, Business Serves, EdTech and HealthTech.

They have a portfolio of over forty companiesincluding BibliU, Cera Care, Gravity and Dragonfly AI.

What the job involves
Working within their EIS fund, your role will have a strong focus on origination and execution of SME deals. With typical cheque sizes of around £2m.

  • Take a lead on origination
  • Develop and build existing and new relationships
  • Execute on deals from market mapping, carrying out financial and commercial due diligences and negotiate on terms.
  • Support on legal doccuments
  • Sit as a board observer on portfolio companies, with the opportunity to take on a board director role within 2 years.

Who we are looking for

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a high level of written and verbal communication.
  • 4/5 years total experience in a relevant sector including Consulting, Investment Banking or previous investing experience
  • Have a strong willingness to learn and a keen interest in Venture Capital.
