Description

We currently are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our outstanding team within the Community Paediatric Department at Hackney Ark.


The Health Care Assistant works under the direction and supervision of the Service Manager of the Community Paediatric Department, in assisting in the nursing care of patients and in maintaining a safe and a comfortable environment.


The HCA is proactive in initiating clinical investigations and helps identify ways in which the patient's journey may be expedited through the department; under the direction of the Service Manager.

The HCA

facilitates the smooth running of the Department by identifying any problems that may impact on the patient's environment or experience.


Working Hours:
Full time 37.5 per week. Part time hours/job share opportunities would be considered.

You will be working within the team providing fast, effective care to patients.


You should have previous experience as a Health Care Assistant or equivalent experience and be trained to NVQ level 2.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a busy team are essential. In return, we will offer you support, additional training and the education necessary to enhance your role.
