    Children's Speech and Language Therapy Operational Lead - London, United Kingdom - Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

    Job summary

    This is a new role within Children's Speech and Language Therapy. It is an exciting opportunity to be involved in an innovative team and to support the service to develop further.

    You will be working as part of the Senior Management Team (SMT), alongside Clinical Leads, to support and develop the operational day to day running of the service as well as create new ways of working to drive efficiency and innovation.

    Our service sits within North East London ICB and covers Hackney and The City, part of the role will be to engage with various commissioners alongside the SMT to develop joint commissioning arrangements.

    Main duties of the job

    The main duties of the job will include:

  • Supporting the Head of Service and Senior Management Team in day to day operational management, working closely with the Clinical Leads of the service
  • Lead on our large traded services offer working with schools to agree contracts and create systems to work with Finance around ongoing management of these contracts
  • Acting as local service link with RiO, HealthRoster, IT, Recruitment, Finance, People Team, Commercial Service and Estates
  • Provide management, leadership and direction to the administrative team
  • Lead on data quality and performance reporting for the team around KPIs and reporting within the Trust
  • Lead on specific project management tasks as they arise
  • Develop the profile of the service through the website, social media, annual service reports to commissioners and other communications
  • Manage delegated budgets and hold oversight for the Service non pay budge
