- Set & operate injection molding machines to produce plastic parts according to specifications.
- Monitor machine operations and adjust as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance tasks as necessary.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material quantities.
- Ability to set, assemble and disassemble molds and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Proficiency in using hand tools for mold assembly, disassembly, and adjustments.
- Mechanical or Manufacturing knowledge to understand machine operations and troubleshoot issues.
- Familiarity with logic controllers used in injection molding machines.
- Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently during production processes.
- Knowledge of tooling concepts and techniques for mold setup and adjustment
