Legal Counsel - NQ - - Cambridge

New NQ - 4 years In-House Commercial Lawyer opportunity to join a world leading organisation.


The role will involve:

  • Advising and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts
  • Manage a workload of general commercial agreements which includes advice on customer and partner contracts; sales, distribution and agency marketing agreements
  • Handle licensing and intellectual property contracts
  • Draft, negotiate and review bespoke and nonstandard contracts
  • Handle compliance issues, regulations, data protection, policies and other relevant matters relevant to general inhouse legal practice
  • UK qualified Solicitor, Barrister, Legal Executive or Foreign qualified Lawyer, NQ 4 years PQE with either an In-House or Private Practice background
  • Have a background in commercial and corporate matters, with a particular emphasis on sales, content licensing and customerfocused agreements.
  • Good working knowledge of contract law, intellectual property and data protection
  • Excellent IT and administrative skills
  • Have the ability to communicate with stakeholders across the business at all levels

Salary band:
£52, £65,000.00 per annum (depending on experience) plus bonus and benefits with flexible hybrid working on offer.
