Who we are looking for:


Are you consummate in your approach to quality control, experienced in being the gatekeeper of software and change before deployment? Are you experienced in the core pillars of testing, including functional, system, user acceptance and compatibility testing? We're looking for a QA Lead to join our growing team, responsible for spearheading the quality assurance efforts for our digital products.

You will work closely with the development team to ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality, are fully functional, and meet client requirements.

You'll work with and grow our team of testers, providing guidance, support and direction to ensure successful completion of projects, to the highest standard.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts, for all digital products.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure that all products are fully tested and meet client requirements.
  • Lead and grow a team of testers, providing guidance, support, and direction as needed.
  • Ensure that all testing is completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct regular code reviews to identify and address quality issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all products and services offered by the agency.
  • Continuously review and improve QA processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Keep up to date with the latest testing tools and methodologies.
  • Work within our ISO27001 and ISO9001 accreditations.
  • Perform manual testing.
  • Implement automated and regression testing, where appropriate.

Requirements:


  • 3+ years of experience in a QA testing role.
  • Excellent knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is desirable.
  • Knowledge of automation testing tools and techniques is desirable.
  • Experienced in Usability testing, Performance testing, Compatibility testing, Security testing, Load testing, Functionality testing, Regression testing and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Experience in writing test automation using Selenium, Python or other scripting language.
  • JIRA project management.
  • Bitbucket / GIT pipelines.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Computer Science or equivalent degree
  • Google Analytics certification

Salary:
£36,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
