The general main duties across Office of DDaT will include:
- Administration of capability and skills development administration activities
- Support best working practices
- Support best working environment activities
- General administration tasks to support senior managers and directorates
- Maintaining skills maps and reports in partnership with Organisation and Employee Development Team (OED)
- Raising requisitions, converting requisitions to purchase orders and receipting requisitions
- Stores ordering and low value purchases.
- Creation of Capability and Skills templates in Perform and producing data and heatmaps in partnership with OED
- Supporting the directorate L&D Pipeline by researching and sourcing appropriate development activities following civil service procurement guidelines
- Support provision of training courses, liaising with the relevant stakeholders
- Support evaluation of DDaT specific L&D
- Assist with process improvement initiatives
- Support the LM Community across the DDaT practices.
Person specification
To meet the requirements of this role, you will have experience in a business support role and can proactively contribute to the work of the whole team, seeking help where necessary to complete your own work effectively.
Effective communication and customer contact skills, including sharing knowledge with others is essential. You will also have competent IT skills (particularly using Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook).
