Lead Stock Assistant

The Role


We have an exciting opportunity to come and work with us as part of our Distribution Team, based at our Riddings Lighthouse Distribution Hub.

We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Lead Stock Assistant, working 37.5 hours (5 full days, 9am to 5pm) Monday to Sunday.

As the Lead Stock Assistant, you will assist and support the Assistant Hub Manager to motivate the Distribution Hub Team and and managing the sorting and storing stock


Daily tasks may include:

  • Seek to promote a positive team culture throughout the Distribution Hub environment, fostering a spirit of unity and belonging, whilst supporting and encouraging the skill sets of individual team members.
  • Supporting the Assistant Hub Manager in aspects of volunteer recruitment.
  • Ensure a standard of excellence in areas such as Customer Service and overall communication with staff, volunteers and members of the public.
  • Effectively support the Assistant Hub Manager in the receiving, sorting and storing of stock.
  • Effectively support the Assistant Hub Manager in the handling of the shops stock order requests including their selection and transfer / delivery arrangements.
We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, and has excellent interpersonal communication and customer care skills. Previous experience in retail and / or distribution environment is required with good problem-solving ability. Are you ready for the ever-changing challenge that is charity retailing? The Package
£20,319.00 per annum
