Job description


RNIB is looking for a Legacy Marketing Officer
Gifts in Wills contribute a third of RNIB's total annual income and half of all voluntary income. Legacy gifts are therefore critical to RNIB's ability to fund its work and achieve its purpose.


We're at an exciting point in RNIB's journey and are on the lookout for talented people who share our values, to join us and make a real difference for blind and partially sighted people.

There are new opportunities to reach our supporters and customers, increasing the number of legacy supporters in our pipeline and increasing the number of gifts in Wills to RNIB.

This will be enhanced by our new strategy, legacy proposition and integrated brand campaign.


What you'll be doing:


You will be responsible for supporting in the delivery and fulfilment of our cold legacy acquisition marketing activity to new audiences and RNIB customers.


You will also manage legacy enquiries and requests from new prospects and existing supporters, to provide an excellent and memorable supporter experience and keep our supporters engaged with RNIB's mission.


You will work collaboratively with teams and colleagues across the organisation and use your influencing skills to inspire internal stakeholders to support and help communicate our legacy strategy.


You'll welcome the opportunity to work within a supportive team, building influential relationships at all levels both internally and externally to help increase our pool of legacy supporters and secure future income to meet the growing need for our services.


What you'll need to succeed in this role:

We are looking for a proactive and motivated team player, with outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills, to join our ambitious Legacy Marketing team, at a very important and exciting stage in our journey.

You will have experience in a marketing support role, with an understanding of marketing techniques and channels. You will also have experience of providing exceptional experiences when managing enquiries and queries from the public.


This is a busy and varied role, and the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities is essential.
