We are looking for a SSC Operator to join our team based at one of our clients, a pioneer in the 'Tech sector'; is forward thinking, inclusive and innovative; providing world class services and bespoke office spaces to all who are on site.

The client's facilities are modern and designed with functionality and form at their core. The SSC Operator will monitor, respond and escalate on incidents and issues presenting potential impacts to business & personnel. The SSC will manage and operate client technical security and monitoring systems.

Reporting to the Security Manager, you will perform monitoring and support for business travel, events, intelligence gathering and monitoring and utilise the clients ticketing systems for incident and fault reporting.

A typical day in the life as a SSC Operator:

SSC services will include technical system operation and will be done through the use of Vantage, FLIR & C-Cure systems to provide alarm monitoring and response
Intelligence monitoring, gathering & analysis from open source, to support the client's intelligence analysis staffing and capability.
Travel risk support will be provided through monitoring of business travel, travellers and stay provisions. Monitoring of international intelligence and provision 'intel' to allow the client's business to respond accordingly.
The SSC operators will support incident management and reporting through collation of information from available sources across the Security team and business' key stakeholders.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for people who are passionate about helping others and keeping those around you both safe and secure.

Minimum of 2 years experience in a control room/SOC/GSOC/SSC/RSOC environment or any 'blue lights' control room environment.
Experience in successfully operating as part of a UK Emergency Services control room environment.
Experience in managing incidents with multi agency involvement.
Be able to work both day and night shifts.
Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence
