Commercial Accounts Handler

Salary - £30k - £40k Bonus + Benefits

Location - Solihull - 5 days per week, office based

The Role -
You'll be responsible for the account handling of commercial lines customers.

With the help of the senior management team you will look to identify opportunities to grow the book through offering relevant cross sales and referral leads.


  • Responsible for growing our commercial clients through new business / arranging policies for new clients
  • Be a point of referral within the team
  • Organise daily work to ensure compliance is met at all times
  • Liaise with Underwriters to help secure the retention of clients.
  • Identify new markets, schemes and other opportunities to help grow the Business

Main duties in the Commercial Claims Account Executive role:

  • Responsible for proactively seeking early settlement of claims for our commercial / personal clients
  • Organise daily work to ensure compliance is met at all times
  • Keep good communication with clients throughout the claims process to help secure the retention at renewal.
  • Provide quarterly claims reviews for fleet clients
  • Identify opportunities to help grow the Business

  • Claims Handling experience within commercial or personal lines backgrounds
  • Proactive mindset to push claims forward and achieve early settlement for clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Organised and effective work
