    Job Description:

    To support Performance Electronics with key financial tasks in Sales and Purchase Ledger, enabling financial control and efficient processes. Working closely with the Performance Electronics team to provide value add finance support across the organization.

    The Role:
    • Accurate and efficient processing of supplier invoices, supplier reconciliation and maintenance. Sense checking coding to ensure accurate capturing of cost information.
    • Processing sales invoices, providing customer statements as well as liaising with customers and commercial team on receipt of payments to ensure continued healthy cashflow.
    • Preparing accounting entries and journals to contribute towards divisions accounting which supports decision making across Electronics.
    • Assisting with queries, providing relevant and accurate information.
    • Generating reporting to enable visibility on financial metrics.
    • Reconciliation of Financial data to support accuracy of data produced.
    • Monitor finance inboxes and resolving queries promptly, communicating with team members in wider business to assist in resolution as required.
    • Support the Finance team and other departments in adhoc tasks and projects.
    • Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
    • Support the Company's compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice.
      Candidate Profile:
      • AAT or equivalent accounting qualification.
      • Related experience not essential as full support and training given.
      • Desire to learn and strives to improve.
      • Strong work ethic and takes accountability for own work.
      • Enthusiastic team player who is able to build strong relationships across different departments, suppliers and customers.
      • Proactive approach with an ability to work on own initiative.
      • Attention to detail.
      • Strong Excel skills (vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables).
