    You will be managing end to end procurement processes in line with the requirements of the Public Sector Regulations (PCR 2015) for high-value exercises, including the creation of frameworks and Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPSs) made available to other public authorities.

    You will provide procurement support to key delivery areas within Great Places, forging strong work relationships and demonstrating excellent procurement.

    You will challenge existing ways of working through the procurement process and become to "go to" for supply chain guidance, acting as a business partner to support the delivery of goals and outcomes.

    You will be managing procurement processes from the tender preparation stage right through to contract award.

    You will apply Great Places' procedures and Public Contract Regulations legislation to your procurement exercises to ensure consistent and compliant procurement practice whilst also adhering to relevant industry and ethical guidelines.

    You will be leading on procurement projects including those for strategic and critical contracts.
    Identifying opportunities for innovation and adding value by challenging existing ways of working through the procurement process.

    Engaging with key stakeholders to develop strategic approaches and work collaboratively to ensure value for money from Great Places' supply chains.

    Maximising the social value and local economic impact of Great Places via. The procurement process.
    Identifying supplier risk areas, quantifying risk exposure within defined delivery areas and executing risk mitigation actions.

    Working effectively with service leads and stakeholders to provide support in specification development and contract management processes including annual performance reviews and contract variations.

    You will explore, develop and embed new approaches to ensure procurement activity delivers best value for Great Places and creates commercial opportunities if appropriate.

    You will promote Great Places procurement function and build on its reputation as a positive service within the sector.

    Experience of managing procurement processes from stakeholder engagement through to contract award in a public sector organisation e.g. "Experience of managing procurement for complex, high-value projects (In excess of PCR financial thresholds)
    Experience of procuring in line with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and FaTS
    Experience of managing multiple projects of varying complexity
    Experience of developing tender documents, specifications and managing E-procurement systems
    Ability to develop relationships with key and senior stakeholders
    A commitment to understand the challenges and opportunities that exist in the communities in which we work. We particularly value lived experience in social housing
