Senior Clinical Psychologist

We are delighted to be advertising this new opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our friendly and established perinatal mental health team within the Parent and Baby day unit based at The Bennett Centre, Richmond Terrace, Shelton, Stoke-on-Trent.

The team operates a community team and a day service.


This is an opportunity to join our Team as we enter an exciting time of new development in our service.

You will contribute, with support and guidance from other psychologists in the team, to pathway development within the service.

You will also be able to access ongoing CPD and training opportunities, both internal and external to the Trust.

The role will involve supporting people experiencing moderate to severe difficulties with their emotional wellbeing during the perinatal period. You will work alongside families, carers and other health professionals to provide high quality care.


The team is embarking on an exciting journey of change & the appointed individual will need to be innovative, compassionate and motivated.

They will need to have a passion to support parents and their families and make a positive contribution to service development.


Previous work within perinatal services is not essential and we are committed to understanding and responding to individual training/ professional development needs.
