A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced 1st Line IT support Technician. You should have experience in Office 365, Azure, Networking (DNS,DHCP,TCP/IP. You will be joining one of London's leading Barristers Chambers (law firm) close to Chancery Lane/Temple (London).- Setting up new users on the network
- Installing and upgrading laptops, Macs and PCs
- Supporting
barristers and staff with a wide range of technical support issues as they arise (both in the office and remotely) - Actively supporting the company network
- Support for video and telephone communications within Chambers
- Good knowledge of Windows/Mac, troubleshooting and hardware provisioning
- Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange (both onprem and O365)
- Collaboration tools such as, Zoom, MS Teams and Webex
- TeamViewer
- Security awareness (Mimecast, Sophos, Access Control)
- Endpoint Manager
- MDM and Multi Factor Authentication setup (MS MFA)
- Windows Server
- Documentation (guides, topologies etc.)
Desirable Skills:_
- Working knowledge of Cloud Services; Azure, Remote/Virtual Desktop, SharePoint.
- Networking (LAN, switches, routers, and firewalls).
- Cyber Essentials Plus (or equivalent framework).
- Be able to display
strong communication skills with users and suppliers. - The ability to work under pressure when urgent issues arise
- The adaptability to work both individually and as part of a wider staff team
- Strong organisational skills in logging calls and taking ownership of support issues.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
