The Winchmore hotel is busy sea front hotel and we are currently looking for a Night Porter for 3 nights a week plus holiday cover from 11:30pm till 8:30am.


Ideally, you'll have experience in hotels or hospitality in a similar role, and applicants need to be over the age of 21 as you will be working by yourself over night.


The main responsibilities for this role are:

  • Knowledge of checking in and checking out procedures
  • Adequate knowledge of Health & Safety and Fire Safety procedures. Detailed training on our particular policies will be provided.
  • Be responsible for cleanliness of all public areas inside and outside the hotel
  • Comfortable with working alone
  • Experience of working with the public, handling unpredictable behavior and crisis situations advantageous.
  • You may also be required to serve a buffet breakfast for guests that require an early breakfast.

Part-time hours: 27 per week

Up to £10.42 per hour
