Description

We are a leading charity fundraising, event management and corporate hospitality company specialising in charity auctions, supplying bespoke corporate hospitality and experience packages.

Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for an Events & Auctions Assistant to join our growing team.


This is an exciting and fast-paced position, suitable for an individual who has a demonstrated interest and strength in customer service, problem solving, team leadership, communication, and sales.

The role requires additional good availability in the evenings and weekends with the willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight around the UK and potentially overseas.

Reporting directly to the Event & Auction Manager.

Key Responsibilities_: _

  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients and internal and external staff through high quality communication, to ensure a seamless client journey and event delivery
  • Provide staffing solutions, including recruiting new freelance staff, booking staff for event work, and sending preevent information
  • Provide Event Managers and Hosts with necessary training and event briefing
  • Organise pre and post event logistics
  • Review and approve freelance staff invoices and expenses
  • Fulfil an Auction Manager role at events, including managing a team of 28 people, speaking with guests, collecting bids, taking payments and ensuring paperwork is completed to an exceptional standard.

  • Ability to work under pressure, use initiative and selfmotivated
  • Great communication and organisational skills, with a flexible and confident approach
  • Confident driver with access to own vehicle and willingness to travel
  • Full clean UK driving license
  • Ensure excellent customer service and quality delivery
  • Managing client and freelancer relationship
  • Maintaining timelines and priorities on every project

From £20,000.00 per year
