Description

Clearabee is the UK's largest bulky waste logistics company. We complete over 1,000 collections every day using an in-house fleet of over 170 vehicles. We employ over 300 staff. We have also just completed commissioning on our first Recycling Facility.

We operate one of the most modern and cleanest sites in the country with best in class wash and break out facilities.

We are recruiting a general labourer role to work within our modern Recycling Facility.

This role will include varied responsibilities such as:

Guiding lorries and vans into a tipping bay
Operating 360 grab machines
Supervising unloading of vehicles to ensure only compliant waste is unloaded
Assisting in unloading of vehicles to speed exit from the site
Constant cleaning of the site to ensure there are no dust build ups
Maintaining a constant fire watch and conducting regular fire checks
Manual loading of simple machines such as balers (training provided)
Taking responsibility for waste separation and segregation to maximise recycling rates

You must enjoy being busy with a fine eye for detail and standards.

You will be on your feet most of the day and there will be some working at heights (with training) to clean parts of the machines which are off the floor.

Health and safety is very important to us. You must be capable of always following our site rules and the training provided and contribute to new policies.

We are a 6 day operation and you will work 5 days per week on average. This means you will need to work one in two Saturday's in most cases.

Salary
- £25,000 - £29,000 per year (dependant on experience)
