About the Role:


We are currently searching for a professional with a positive, can-do attitude to join the team as a depot vehicle dispatcher based at our hub in Aston, Birmingham.


You will play a key part in ensuring that the Clearabee fleet can operate smoothly by ensuring that the van teams can swiftly leave site to begin their day within minutes of arrival.


It will be important that you liaise with both our drivers and third-party visitors to ensure that they can access, tip, and leave the site promptly.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Using our weighbridge app to accurately document both thirdparty and Clearabee waste entering and leaving the site.
  • Oversee the safe manoeuvring of all vehicles around the site with the assistance of the site operatives.
  • Reporting any vehicle defects or damage to ensure each vehicle remains in a roadworthy condition.
  • Using our software to provide a daily tracking report of each dispatched vehicle
  • Including departure time, identifying where they went, and confirmation of arrival at the first job.
  • Ensure all vehicles leave the depot on time every day.
  • Reporting any vehicle defects and changing any broken rear light lenses to ensure each vehicle remains in a roadworthy condition.

About us:

Clearabee is the UK's largest bulky waste logistics company. We complete over 1,000 collections every day using an in-house fleet of over 170 vehicles. We employ over 300 staff. We have also recently completed commissioning on our first Recycling Facility in Birmingham, with other sites planned.

We operate one of the most modern and cleanest waste recycling sites in the country.


Hours & Pay:

- £24,920 per annum - £13.00 per hour

  • 40 hours per week + Breaks (30 minutes each day)
  • 6am start 2pm finish
  • Company pension scheme
  • 28 Days Annual Holiday
  • Includes Saturdays on rotation and Bank Holidays
  • Monthly pay but advance pay is available on our HR system for when required

Salary:
£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
