Main Purpose of Role

  • Prepare, verify, check and approve product specifications, pack copies and artwork in accordance with the client's requirements, industry best practice and relevant regulations taking information from suppliers.
  • Reporting any noncompliance against client policies.
  • Providing technical and regulatory support and advice to clients and any other internal or external parties.
  • Supporting Compliance Managers / Senior Advisors

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure that the specification, pack copy and artwork adheres to all current and UK & EU legislation, codes of practice and industry guidelines.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and any other internal or external party in order to achieve the above.
  • Review GFSI evaluations and third party audits in accordance with client requirements.
  • Carry out traceability audits in accordance with client requirements.
  • Supporting with complaint investigation in accordance with client requirements.
  • Supporting with regulatory queries in accordance with client requirements.
  • Assisting and support with reporting and other projects as requested by the Compliance Managers
  • Supporting the Compliance Managers in constantly driving improvements of the process

Qualifications:


  • Technical & Regulatory competence.
  • Possess excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Have the ability to plan and prioritize work effectively.
  • Able to maintain good working relationships at all levels.
  • A proactive attitude.
  • A working knowledge of Health and safety in the work place.

Qualifications

  • Formal Food Hygiene/Science/Regulatory Qualification or Relevant Degree
  • Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3) preferable
  • Intermediate HACCP (Level 3) preferable
