Job Title:
Residential Support Worker - Children's service

Locations:

Fordhouses area of Wolverhampton

Make a difference to Children in our Care: Do you have at least 1 years' experience is a Residential Care setting, maybe in an adult's settings where your skills gained to date are transferrable and you just fancy moving into a children's home setting, or you have experience in an Education setting. We could put you through the Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) and if completed within the agreed timescale you could earn £1000 bonus.

Our home in Wolverhampton is in the local community supporting upto 2 young people with complex needs in solo placements

Salary: £26,320.00 to £29,320.

00 this includes approximately 6 sleep ins per month:

£1000 bonus upon completion of Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) within the agreed timescale

Sleep in are paid at £60 per sleep in

Hours:

Average 40 hours per week (1 on, 2 off day rota)

Residential Support Worker, you will carry out an essential and varied role to provide the individual support required by the children and young people in our care.

You will support the children & young people to appointments and other fun activities, deliver personal care, undertake household tasks, complete relevant paperwork, and where appropriate administer medication.

You will create positive relationships with the children & young people, meeting their needs and always safeguarding them.

Qualification & Experience

Experience in Residential childcare (preferred, but not essential)
Hold a Diploma Level 3 in diploma for residential childcare or equivalent (preferred, but not essential)
