Many teachers say their job is endlessly rewarding and incredibly fulfilling. If you're confident and have a willingness to be creative, you could gain a lot from teaching. Generally, the lessons that will engage the children most are the ones you enjoy and based on a subject that you love.
The successful Future Teachers will work in a secondary school in Darlington as a Cover Supervisor. You will be required to cover lessons during the short-term absence of the teacher who will have set suitable work for the duration of the lessons. The role of the successful cover supervisor is to supervise the class whilst they complete tasks set by the teacher. This requires no active teaching, marking or planning but will ensure that a high-quality learning experience is delivered to all students giving you a real insight into working as a Teacher.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
