    Description

    Our well known client with it's heritage in the technology sector are specialists in Business to Business technology blending data, creative, multi-channel marketing and technology are looking to recruit a Sales Team Manager as part of their phenomenal growth. This is a newly created role baesd in the heart of historic Reading.

    This is a critical, people-focused role which is primarily centered on the

    leadership and development of a team of Inside Sales Representatives and a Deputy Team Manager.

    The position is target-driven and is ultimately responsible for the generation of leads and

    opportunities for IT and Technology clients, through the first-rate line management of these ISRs.

    The Team Manager reports to the Operations Director, and works hand-in-glove with the Client Services Team, and Account Director.

    Role Key Elements

    Lead, manage, motivate, train, coach and mentor a team of Inside Sales Representatives and, depending on the team, a Deputy Team Manager

    Ultimate responsible for the provision of high-quality leads & opportunities and overall responsibility the performance of the team.

    Supports the Client Services Team in client interaction, including:

    • Providing performance summaries
    • Weekly client calls
    • Attending external client campaign reviews
    • Participating in Client training and briefing sessions
    • Produce Call Guides in line with best practice, and business/client expectations
    • Attend internal Campaign Kick off meetings
    • Attend internal campaign reviews and 121s with relevant internal stakeholders
    • Achieve Campaign Index and KPI targets
    • Continual performance management
    • Provide regular 1-2-1's to the team and individual ISRs
    • Work with Resourcing and Training Manager to put ongoing Personal Development Plans in place as necessary
    • Training and coaching of Inside Sales Representatives through means of side by side coaching, demonstration, call listening and role play
    • Provide any additional support including campaign, product and sales training as and when required
    • Conduct Annual Reviews with direct reports
    • Hold daily and weekly performance reviews and updates with the team
    Minimum Requirements

     Ideally educated to Degree level, but must be at least A'Level or equivalent educated, or

    with commensurate related work experience
    • Significant Inside Sales experience
    • Previous management experience in a related field
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Time management and strong organisational skills essential
    • Pro-active, can-do attitude and a good sense of humour
