- You will report to the Assistant Operations Manager and receive daily guidance from Operations Supervisors.
- You will supervise HWRC operatives, ensuring efficient and effective task completion.
- You will make independent decisions regarding staff duties and respond to situations as they arise.
- Implement working systems and procedures to ensure safe and compliant operations.
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and health and safety standards.
- Record detailed and accurate information on site operations.
- Report any operational issues promptly.
- Engage with customers to uphold excellent service standards.
- Utilizing specialist equipment and assisting in training others.
- Coordinating with contractors to maintain site compliance.
- Participating in re-use activities and pre-planning tasks.
- Training HWRC operatives and ensuring standards in their absence.

Site Supervisor HWRC
Please Note: The role will be based at Fleetwood Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC)
Hours: 40 hours (Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon) This includes 3hrs conditional overtime and 16hrs of weekend working at our contractual overtime and weekend working rate of Time + 33%.
Qualifications: The post holder must have relevant certificates of competence or equivalent, such as Certificate of Technical Competence (COTC) Level 4/Occupational Certificate of Competence (OCC), First Aid at Work, or show the ability to achieve competence within a reasonable timescale.
