About Our Client:

Our client is a specialist marine technology business who form part of a larger group of business who operate on a global scale.

As a group the business operates in more than 35 countries and always looks to promote from within. This business entity for this role has a turnover of £5million.

Finance Officer duties include:

Deliver proactive and professional financial and decision support to the organisation.
Proactive in posting all accounting entries in an accurate and timely manner.
Record bank receipts, payments and perform bank reconciliation.
Prepare monthly management information, along with meaningful commentary, to a good standard and in line with deadlines.
Manage payroll ensuring complete and accurate employee payments and compliance with local tax and employment regulations.
Preparation and review of annual statutory accounts and liaising with auditors.
Participate in projects from a financial business partnering perspective.
Support the business unit managers in forecasting, pricing and planning
Develop action plans to measure and analyse results.
Initiate corrective actions to minimise the impact of adverse variances.
Review business performance against forecasts and agree on corrective action with the management team.
