Facilities by ADF plc are a 24/7 operation and staff are required to be flexible during busy periods to cover additional workloads.

Experience in the industry is not necessary as training will be provided.

HGV Driving Assessor - The Role:

We are currently looking to recruit an approved DSA LGV Instructor / Assessor to be responsible for the delivery of driver training across our business.

The appointed person must also be able to deliver the Driver CPC training which could occasionally beNationwide.

You will work with a team of Assessors to ensure that excellent driving standards are demonstrated across the company.

HGV Driving Assessor - Key Responsibilities:

Deliver CPC training to a standard required by JAUPT
Maintain records of CPC training
As a registered instructor you will deliver accurate and effective training up to DVSA Category CE level
Assess and report individual driver training requirements
Develop internal Training to address performance gaps
Carry out driver assessments and identify any training needs, develop required training to upskill the individual(s)
Deliver Induction training to new driving employees consistently and professionally
Assisting in the Training of employees currently enlisted on our Apprenticeship scheme

HGV Driving Assessor - You:

Registered DVSA/NRI/RTITB LGV CE driving instructor
Registered DVSA/NRI/RTITB Driver CPC instructor
Possess current and clean LGV C+E driving licence
Possess a current Driver CPC Card
Knowledge of health and safety legislation
Recognised training qualification e.g. PTTLS level 3 or significant training experience
Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
The ability to remain calm and patient when under pressure
Communicate effectively with employees to bring out the best in them
Work well within a small team to deliver training requirements for the Company
Must be flexible and prepared to travel (if necessary)
