The Role:


This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an industry leading organisation who partner with many well-known and iconic entertainment brands to develop and maintain their demand forecasts.


We're searching for an individual with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities who pride themselves on maintaining high levels of attention to detail.

As the Demand Planner, there will be opportunities to work cross-functionally and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as the Operations, Sales and Customer Service teams, as well as working with internal stakeholders across the EMEA and US functions.


In your role, you will be responsible for managing and forecasting demand to ensure that the Company meet customer requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.

You will be required to use your strong relationship building and analytical skills to gather data and insights to understand market trends and customer needs.


Your mission:

Relationships:Collaborate cross functionally with the sales, marketing and finance teams to gather insights and finetune forecasts for maximum accuracy.

Inventory:Ensure seamless synchronisation of inventory levels by communicating demand forecasts to ensure that inventory levels are appropriately aligned.

Communication:Provide the appropriate stakeholders with any identified forecast risks and opportunities, facilitating agile decision making.

Demand and Planning:Develop and refine demand forecasts for the EMEA region and analytically review historical sales data, market trends and seasonal items to ensure products are always in sync with customer needs.

Forecasting and Performance:Continually review and monitor the accuracy of your forecasts ensuring that any corrective actions are made in order to improve forecast performance.

Inventory Optimisation:Provide recommendations to adjust safety stocks and reorder points to contribute to the improvement of inventory optimisation.

New Products and Phase Outs:Provide advice on new product launches and discontinuations to ensure an efficient changeover.

Reviews:Provide the Senior Management Team with forecasts and estimations in regular demand update meetings.

Trends:Stay ahead of the curve by conducting market research and analysis to identify emerging consumer trends.


What they are looking for:


  • Proven track record in demand planning, preferably within the EMEA region, with experience or understanding of working with inventory management and supply chain processes.
  • Strong data interpretation skills, coupled with a passion for problem solving.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage time independently, whilst maintaining a high attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Familiarity of EMEA industry trends and market dynamics in the family entertainment market.
  • GCSE's in English and Maths (grades A-C) or equivalent.
  • The ability to speak multiple languages (desirable)
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office packages such as Outlook and Excel.
