About the team

This is a newly created role within the LatAm settlement operations team, due to a geographical expansion within the platform.

A small but growing team within a growing platform which is due to expand further in the next 12-18 months.

The team are responsiblefor balance sheet reconciliations consisting of scheme settlements and merchant payments.


About the role:

As an Account Reconciler, your finger will be on the financial pulse of the entire organization.

Collaborating with a diverse team, you will be responsible for recording general ledger journal entries and conducting account reconciliation, as well as analysisof third party financial scheme reports.


What you will be doing

You will be part of a team of Account Reconcilers responsible for complex reconciliations and investigations to ensure transactions are being processed as expected within the settlement cycle.

You will become an expert in the accounts assigned to you, as wellas working as part of a team in other tasks to increase efficiency across the platform.

This will be a varied role in a complex and growing platform, that will also include the following:


  • Use financial data to prepare and record general ledger journal entries.
Prepare cash and balance sheet account reconciliations.

  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner to improve efficiency within the platform.
  • Receive and prepare files from a variety of sources
  • Analyse complex data and enter accurately into the system
  • Liaise with teams both internally and externally in order to resolve reconciliation issues.

What you bring:


  • Experience with reconciliations and journal postings
  • Skilled in analytical and statistical examination.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Internal/External audit experience.

Added bonus if you have:


  • Experience working in finance and/or reconciliations
  • Acquiring and/or finance industry experience
  • Large corporate background
