Job Description - General Maintenance Person / Gardener

The role / opportunity

Working out of the head office in Spondon, Derby with regular travel to other sites in the Midlands the role provides maintenance and house keeping services including; gardening, lawn cutting, leaf collecting, painting and decorating as well as general maintenance.

Key aspect of the job will involve:

everyday maintenance of multiple sites including lawn cutting, litter picking, maintenance of shrubs and boarders etc

- ensure properties are maintained to high standards and ensure things are in working order where possible
- carry out daily property checks
- undertake all routine maintenance tasks and minor general repair work as requested
- general day to day repairs and up keep of a working property site
- dealing with general items of repair and maintenance in the interior and exterior of the building
- basic electrical fixtures and fittings
- use of power tools

The person:

- must have a valid clean diving licence will need to be flexible and have the ability to re-prioritise as the needs of the business change
- use of initiative to ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner
- must be hard working, reliable, honest and trustworthy
- experience in basic maintenance duties ie joinery, electrics, plumbing, decorating

The package

Location:
Primary location - Spondon, Derbyshire, working across multiple sites.

Hours Flexible / Part Time, 10-20 hours per week these can be spread over the month and are flexible.

Salary:
£ ph

Other:
a vehicle can be provided for travel between sites.

Part-time hours: per week

Salary:
£10.50-£11.00 per hour
