Environmental Enforcement Officer in your area.

We have on average 34 hours per week available for a Flexible Temporary Worker.

This is a temporary assignment with the potential of turning into a permanent, working in Harrow, HA3 area.

4 on 4 off,


Salary:
£12.00 per hour - Weekly pay.


Job Purpose:


To assist in the day-to-day monitoring and enforcement of regulations at the recycling centre, working alongside the Local Authority and Kingdom.


The key roles of this post will include:

  • Checking bookings into the recycling site.
  • Confirming all arrivals are residents of the Harrow Borough before they enter the recycling site.
  • Maintaining a professional but friendly manner when welcoming visitors.
  • Demonstrating good customer service skills at all times.
  • Undertake administrative duties as required, ensuring that correct audit procedures and security arrangements are followed.
  • Such other responsibilities allocated which are appropriate to the grade of the post.

Uses appropriate methods to express information in a clear and concise way to make sure people understand.


Flexibility:

Adapts to change and works effectively in a variety of situations and all weathers.


Learning and Development:


We have an informative and practical course aimed at aspiring environmental officers, our training gives a greater insight into the daily duties required to become an environmental enforcement officer, current Legislation and the communication and interaction aspect of the role.

We engage participation via practical activities, the use of videos and observations whilst gaining a recognised qualification in environmental awareness.
